April 13th, 2009 Welcome to Branch Out Music
Welcome to Branch Out Music, the first official site dedicated in supporting underground music. This site was built in hopes to spread music that you wouldn’t necessary hear and bands and artist you might have never heard about. There are some people out there that think the music on the radio is the “good music”, yeah sure to some people, but the term “good music” is a total opinion but I believe that there are some people that feel if a band is good, they would have been on the radio. That is not the case, especially with the growth of this digital world; it has made it a lot easier to get your music out to other people, which is great but at the same time it’s lot harder to really make it in the music industry because there are that many more fish swimming in the same pond, if you will.
Branch Out Music is an informative, promotions and productions company bringing you the latest happenings with our favorite underground bands and artist. As of right now we support well over 50 bands and artist ranging from all different genres of music. We also have a lot of cool features on the site like “Video of the Week”, “Featured Artist”, “Taste the Track Tuesday”. So come back every week and we will have a new video for you to check out and a Free MP3 for you as well. As of right now the site is looking a little bare in it’s content but give me a little bit of time and I will have a lot of reviews, interviews and other great stuff for you to get your hands on.
Later in the week I will be launching the official download for the compilation that I have put together. A bunch of great bands and artist that I support have each given me a track. This compilation is entitled the “Creation Compilation” and is a reggae/dub/jam album. Hopefully you will download it and find a couple new bands and artist that you didn’t know about.
I want to thank you for stopping by and checking out the site, and hope you will be back every week from here on out to see what’s going on in the underground music scene. Please tell everyone you know about the site and continue to pass on the good vibes that you have found. I hope to see you all at a show soon.
Peace, Love and Respect,
Ryan McKeldin - Founder/ Fan/ Operator
