The Artist’s Guide to Success in the Music Business is a detailed analysis of the subjects that all musicians should understand in order to pursue a realistic, sustainable and successful career in music. Written by accomplished music producer and consultant based in Seattle, Washington. Having worked on hundreds of albums, studio productions, and tours as both a drummer and producer, he gained a spectrum of insight on the music industry as a whole. We over here at Branch Out Music have been following Lorens blogs for the last year, and they have been filled with a boat load of useful information, taking examples straight from the real world, to better allow us to understand what’s really being said. The book is available right now and I encourage all artist that we support to pick the book up. Don’t think if you do the book step by step that it will make you #1 on iTunes, because that’s not what this book is about at all. It reaches on all different types of subjects in the music business from branding, fan reaching, demos, albums, ect…

3. The One
4. Waiting

Pacific Dub is a fairly new group, but has already started kicking ass and taking names, if you will.   In 2009 they released their first self titled EP and than caught the wave to the West Beach Music & Arts Festival.  Than later in 2009 they released their first LP “Fire Eye”, and now this spring they will be releasing a new EP entitled “To The Sky”, which from what we have already heard from their little iphone preview from the studio, it should be  something to wait for.
