It has been over two years since the release of his solo album “Smoke Stack” which released November 5, 2009 and debuted at #1 on the reggae charts on iTunes and stayed in the top three for several weeks. It is definitely his most popular album to date, but that will be sure to change with the release of “Burial Ground”. Fans new and old can expect a similar sound to that of “Smoke Stack” but amped up; showcasing his newest tricks to the trade, adding a heavier dub influence with some new styles and sounds both vocally and instrumentally.
Reggae superstar Half Pint is featured on one of the many tracks on “Burial Ground” An album that represents the burring of the past and the beginning to a brighter future. Fans are really going to dig this one, as many of them will be able to relate to a majority of the songs on the album.
Stick Figure has been building his independent grassroots fan base since the release of his 2007 album “Sound of My Addiction” As he has had little to no touring dates till the release of “Smoke Stack” he and his fellow fans across the world have been doing a great job at spreading his music. With over 50,000 fans on Facebook, the Social Media has shown to do it’s job. One fan said, “I don’t know what it is about Scott, but he has this way of pulling you in, it’s like a seduction that I will never understand, once you hear something from him, you start to dig everything this kid creates.” another fan said “Scott, takes the time to make sure each tune he puts on his album is perfect in his eyes and won’t just throw in some filler tracks, that says something there.” The fans will continue to spread his sound, as long as he continues to create it.
